10am - 12:30pm A fun and relaxed introduction to fusing for complete beginners using Bullseye glass.. A perfect experience for something fun to do with friends or family! Due to the coronavirus situation I will only be taking small groups of 3 per session to ensure distancing.

WHAT TO EXPECT
In this 2.5 hour session you will learn about the basics of glass fusing, be shown a number of techniques for applying the glass, and create a 9x9cm square trinket dish, a freestanding curve and a little window hanging. See pictures for examples of what you can produce.
All materials are provided.
The glass you will use is pre-cut sheet glass, frits, stringers and rods in a wide range of colours.
WHAT TO BRING
Tea, coffee and cake will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Please wear sturdy shoes that cover your toes and warm clothing on colder months.
All materials are provided. If you have a few simple ideas for the designs you would like to make in glass you can bring them, however this isn't completely necessary as you will be shown examples of what you can produce.
If you have a mask please bring it with you to wear.
COLLECTING YOUR GLASS
Your glass creations will be taken away to be fired and can be collected from the Granary Creative Arts Centre, or posted to you for an additional charge of £5.
This course is held in Medstead at the address below. The studio is situated at the rear of the house.

There is plenty of parking available in front of the house and space for a few cars infront of the studio.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus situation the cancellation policy has been relaxed.
* Course dates are subject to change according to the Covid situation. If lock down restrictions are in place when a course is scheduled your place will need to be rescheduled or you may opt for a gift voucher.
* If you have booked a course but feel symptoms within 2 weeks of the course date you must reschedule to another date, or you can opt for a gift voucher valid for 2 years. This includes if you wake up on the day feeling symptoms.
* If the course teacher (Alison Smith) has symptoms within 2 weeks of a course then it will need to be rescheduled, or you will be issued with a gift voucher.
